Meet the folks that helped
It took a lot of work to put Amazing Place together. It isn't that the original house wasn't great to start
with, but we had a different vision for it as a vacation house for us and as a vacation house for folks
using it to visit Ruidoso.

The people and places listed below were all strangers when we wandered into Ruidoso, but they are
a network of connections that started with Debbie Henexson. When we checked into Shadow
Mountain Lodge in August 2005 we picked up a Cool Ruidoso brochure. Debbie lead us to Don and
Nancy Lincoln. While shopping at Casa Decor we ran into a couple from Dimmit, Texas who
recommended Anne Reveley. Driving around the area we found Michelle at M. Waldrop and Casa
Decor on Mechem. After a lot of Internet searching and calling around I was happily surprised to find
the very helpful crew at Olhausen in Las Cruces. So there was some 'luck,' but also a lot of good
folks helping us get an Amazing Place up and running.
